Event industry laws

Anybody can set up a party once in a while, but organizing a real event is not a mere hobby, but a real trade. Moreover, this is a business where an increasing number of rules is introduced. Event managers are not only required to keep into account the wishes/demands of their commissioning parties and/or participants of the events, but also those of other parties involved, such as residents in the direct vicinity (nuisance), the government (licenses), legal institutions (criminal liability in case of accidents), media (positive/negative reporting), etc. There are a great number of parties to make proper arrangements with, arrangements which also need to be carefully laid down in writing. Besides this, there must be scenarios which not only provide for a good outcome, but may also be brought into action in the unlikely event that something goes wrong somewhere. We have several lawyers on our staff who are active in the entertainment and events industry and they would be pleased to be of service to you.
